Meet Halo—a dream come true for anyone who loves a soft, airy halo. This yarn is incredibly gentle, like wrapping yourself in a light alpaca-and-silk cloud. If you enjoy the look of kid mohair but crave something even softer (with that same beautiful fuzz), Halo is the perfect choice.
While it’s lovely on its own, Halo truly shines when held together with a smoother yarn. One of my favorite pairings is with our Indulgence fingering weight yarn—the combination adds depth, softness, and a gorgeous glow to any project. I loved it so much that I created the Indulgence Cowl to showcase just how beautiful these two yarns are together—be sure to check it out below!
Chroma is the term we use for our space-dyed yarn. We originally dyed this up for weavers because it can make a gradient-type warp. For other needle arts, your mileage may vary. The yarn may possibly create a candy cane type of striping when knit into socks depending on your gauge, or it may pool. Be open to the serendipity of the yarn.
We recommend hand washing in warm water and laying flat to dry to ensure the best care for your project.
Gladiolus is part of our Birth Flower series and will only be dyed in August. Once it is gone we won't be dyeing it again until next year.
