Black Label is the yarn we always wanted to create. We developed a unique blend of camel down, mulberry silk, and superfine Merino to create a color-changing yarn with exceptional softness and beautiful drape.

Each colorway begins in our dye studio, where we hand-dye the fiber before it's spun into yarn. We then work with a specialty mill to spin our custom blend into yarn with soft, flowing color transitions. The result is exceptional softness, beautiful drape, and effortless color changes.

Perfect for colorwork, Black Label lets the shades flow naturally from one to the next. Ideal for shawls, cowls, sweaters, hats, and any project where you want color to do the work for you.

Good to Know

Black Label is sold by yardage rather than weight. Because of the hand-milled process, each skein varies slightly in weight, but every skein contains the same yardage. Depending on your gauge, Black Label can be worked anywhere from a fingering to a light sport weight.

Every skein is hand-dyed, making each one unique. We keep the variation between skeins very subtle, so you can confidently order a sweater quantity knowing they'll work beautifully together.
