Hold Sway Sweater Pattern
Hold Sway Sweater Pattern
a Knitting Pattern by Raelean Finch
Physical copy
This A-line sweater with a scooping ballet neckline is worked in the round from the bottom up, beginning with a garter-stitch hem shaped by increases, decreases, and short rows. It has a nice combination of a simple A-line silhouette and dramatic hem.
This is a great pattern for showing off a hand-dyed yarn. Variegated yarns look lovely on the mostly stockinette body of the sweater. For the adventurous, why not try a fade of several colors? It's the perfect palette for playing with color!
We've knit this sweater a couple of times using our fingering-weight Yakity Yak yarn. It gives such a nice drape to the sweater. Any of our fingering weight yarns would work nicely for this sweater.
