We are happy to put together this knitting kit of the "Lacy Stripe Shawl" by Tanis Gray. This shawl is so much fun to knit! Each section uses a different color and lace pattern. The shawl is large and you can easily wrap yourself up in it. It actually knits up quickly on size 5 needles.
Each kit contains the book "Gradient Knits" that contains the pattern along with several other patterns for gradient yarns. The kit contains plenty of our hand-dyed fingering weight Simply Sock yarn in mini skeins. It all comes packaged up in a nice organza bag.
Simply Sock is hands down our best all-around sock yarn. It has a sturdy twist and a good amount of nylon for strength. Simply Sock is a 4-ply yarn which helps it hold up to the wear of a sock. Best of all, it is still a comfortable yarn because of the soft Merino wool. With 463 yards you will be able to easily knit a pair of women's socks with just one skein. But, don't just think socks. Simply Sock is great for children's clothing, too. We've even made scarves, shawls, and sweaters from this versatile yarn.
