We love to spin yarn and know that there are many others who do too, so we put together a Spinner's Kit for the ever-popular Nightshift Shawl by Andrea Mowry.  We took her beautiful and easy-to-knit design and made it up in our luxurious Organic Polwarth/Silk blend.  This creates a very soft and drapeable shawl that you will love wearing as much as you enjoy spinning and knitting it up.

This is a handspinning kit and only contains the fiber that will need to be spun into yarn.  If you are not a spinner, you may want to take a look at our Nightshift Shawl Kits that have just the yarn.  They can be found here.

The knitting pattern consists of slip stitches where you carry only one color of yarn at a time.  This makes for very easy and fast knitting while creating a fabric that looks much more complicated. 

Each kit contains a printed copy of the pattern with a Ravelry code to download a PDF copy and 16 ounces of our hand-dyed Organic Polwarth/Silk roving in ample amounts to complete the shawl as written.  Instructions are included on how I spun the yarn to get the color effect you see in the shawl.  It is all packaged in a nice organza bag.

This is a very special blend of 80% Organic Polwarth and 20% Mulberry Silk.  It is extremely soft and spins up like butter.  If you are wanting to try out a luxury fiber blend, this one is perfect for beginning and experienced spinners alike.  Did I say it takes color beautifully?  Yes, it could possibly be the most perfect blend of fibers.
