Seventh Day of Christmas 2024 - Gradient Yarn Cakes in "Grandma's Tree"
Gradient Yarn Cakes
Fingering Weight in Sublime Yarn and Mystery Yarn
Different sizes of Cakes
Welcome to our Twelve Days of Christmas! Each day leading up to Christmas, we are featuring something special. These may be one-of-a-kind, a special colorway, or whatever we can think of. All are limited in quantity. Most of all, we want to bring something special to your holidays and hope you enjoy these offerings.
Day 7 - We love the gradient yarn cakes! They are so much fun to work with. There are long color repeats that join smoothly from one to another. They are perfect for a gradient shawl, or even for fair isle knitting because you just let the colors change by themselves and you don't have all those pesky ends to weave in afterwards!
We have two different yarns of cakes today. The first is Sublime, a fingering weight sw Merino, Cashmere, and Silk blend. The second is a mystery yarn. It is fingering weight and feels like our simply sock--or perhaps our pearl yarn. I'm not sure, it's a Mystery!
Please note: If you believe you will be purchasing several items from our 12 Days Event and wish them to be shipped all together on the 24th, please write "hold for shipping" in the notes to seller when you make your purchase. I will then hold your orders until the 24th and refund any excess shipping charges.
