We're doing something special and bringing in a Limited Edition wool base every couple of months, just for our Saturday Sales.  You never know what it will be, but you can be sure it will be unique and fun.

This special fiber is what we call "Monster Mash."  It is an extremely fun and textured roving that takes color brilliantly.  If you want a bumpy and textured art yarn, then this is the fiber for you!  It reminds me of some of the art batts I've made in the past, but at almost half the price!  You get 4 ounces for only $25.  If you love color and texture, this is for you!  

I recommend spinning short draw so you can draft out the silk a little bit more, but also keeping a light hand and allowing the fiber to give the wonderful texture it wants to create.

It is made from a lovely, soft, and springy Light Brown BFL wool, along with bits of recycled sari silk.  The Silk bits stand out with their bright sheen and lighter colors.  It makes for a truly magical spinning experience!
