"Heathered" rovings are made of soft BFL wool that have stripes of darker wool running lengthwise throughout the roving.  When overdyed in the various colorways, it creates a unique depth of color as both the dark and lighter colors combine.

BFL is short for Blue Faced Leicester but it is not short in wonderful qualities. It is an extremely soft and lustrous wool that makes the most beautiful yarn. If you have used BFL before, you know what I'm talking about--if not, you are in for a treat!  BFL will felt nicely.

Opal Turquoise is a semi-solid colorway dyed for a WAFA Sale.  It is made to coordinate with our Opal colorway.  It is a one-of-a-kind product and once it is gone, there is no more.
