We are happy to put together a kit for weavers that creates a nice soft wool-blend scarf with gradient colors throughout the warp. The scarf requires a 4-harness loom with a 12 inch weaving width.
Instructions include directions on how to wind the gradient warp from the space-dyed Chroma yarn, along with the weaving pattern.
The scarf weaves up quickly using one color/shuttle of black weft yarn. It is machine washable although we recommend laying flat to dry.
Simply Sock is hands down our most versatile yarn. It has a sturdy twist and a good amount of nylon for strength. Simply Sock is a 4-ply yarn which makes it a great yarn for both warp and weft. Best of all, it is still a comfortable yarn because of the soft Merino wool.
