Polwarth is a soft, easy-to-spin wool that is quite popular among spinners and felters alike.  It is a breed that originated about 100 years ago and is a cross between Merino and Lincoln.  It is next-to-skin soft with a nice loftiness to the wool.  Polwarth also felts nicely.  

Holly is part of our Birth Flower series and will only be dyed in December.  Once it is gone we won't be dyeing it again until next year.
